Cord Points

Members have the opportunity to earn an honor cord from CNSA Fresno State to wear at graduation.
​It is a token of meaningful & voluntary involvement in the club, the nursing program, and the community. 
HOW CAN I QUALIFY FOR A CORD?
  • CNSA Membership for at least 4 out of 5 semesters during the nursing program at Fresno State. 
  • At least 25 points before your last semester of the nursing program.

HOW CAN I EARN CORD POINTS?
1 POINT​
  • ​Attend CNSA general meeting OR committee meeting.
  • Attend a educational CNSA event approved by the
    VP or President.  
  • Attend a monthly baccalaureate meeting
  • Participate in the mentorship program.
  • Volunteer at a CNSA-associated event less than 4 hours.
              -   Additional 1 point if appointed the team lead. ​
2 POINTS 
  • Volunteer at a CNSA-associated event more than 4 hours.            -   Additional 1 point if appointed the team lead. 
  • Class representatives (2 points/ semester).
  • Volunteer to help run Bootcamp for incoming cohorts. 
OTHER
  • AUTOMATIC CORD - Serve on the CNSA BOD for 1 year.
