Vice President
Lexi Patterson Hello! I am currently in my fourth semester of the nursing program. I have completed my minor in Deaf Studies to someday become an American Sign Language interpreter in the pediatric hospital setting. I am an oncology nurse extern II at Valley Children's Hospital during the day and a bartender at a local brewery at night. I have a passion for music, bedside nursing, scientific research, and being an ally for the Deaf Community. When not at school or work, I volunteer with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center of Fresno County. I enjoy outdoor activities, video games, and slapping some tunes on the bass. I look forward to being your Vice President. Together, we are the future leaders of nursing! |
Secretary
Phoebe Teves My name is Phoebe Teves, and I am going into my 2nd semester of nursing school, representing Spring '26 cohort! I am ecstatic and ready to be CNSA's '24-'25 Secretary. I have witnessed growth of CNSA throughout the six years I've been here at Fresno State, and I am excited to be part of it! About me, I am a second bachelor's with my first undergraduate degree in Psychology. During my free time, I write to my penpals around the world with my abundance amounts of stationery as I sip on my addiction of coffee and milk tea. I also love listening to music and play tennis with my close ones. With prior experience in the hospital, I want to work with cardiology/tele, and eventually go into higher education. There are many specialities that I haven't gone to yet, so we'll just wait and see... Anyways, I can't wait to be your Secretary and go on this journey with everyone! |

Fundraising Director
Trevor MacDonald Hi everyone! My name is Trevor MacDonald and I am an incoming 3rd sem! I'm excited to be a part of CNSA BOD as the next Fundraising Director! I'm originally from Sacramento (show me stuff to do in Fresno y'all) and I've lived/traveled all over the USA & abroad! After nursing school; I'd like to be an ICU nurse, most likely in pediatrics, and a critical care flight nurse in the United States Air Force. Whenever I'm not studying for the endless number of exams we have, you can find me out on a hike, throwing down on the wrestling/judo mate, and baking! Fun fact about me is that I used to study abroad in France before Nursing School! I am looking forward to working with this new BOD and getting to know everyone in all of the semesters better! Please don't be afraid to reach out for help or guidance! Kudos to a fun year together and let's raise some funds! |

Publications and Apparel Director
Maria Santos Hello Everyone! My name is Maria Santos and I am heading into my fourth semester. I am honored and excited to be your new CNSA Publications and Apparel Director for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 school year. After completing my third semester, I've come to realize that I really enjoyed the labor and delivery rotation we had. It may be what I want to pursue after I graduate, however, I am still open to exploring other areas. A little bit about myself is that in my free time, I enjoy going out for runs, sketching, binge-watching TV shows/movies, hanging out with friends and family, trying new activities, doing crafts, and taking naps. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, so I can't wait to meet more fellow nursing students from all semesters :). Overall I am very excited and looking forward to working with the rest of the BOD. I hope we all have another great year! |
Communications Director
Emma Lopez Hi y'all, my name is Emma Lopez! I'm an incoming second sem and I am beyond excited to serve as this year's CNSA Communications Director! I chose to venture down the nursing pathway because of my desire to enter into the medical field, nursing in particular piqued my interest during my freshman year of high school and I've never looked back! In addition to dreaming of becoming a nurse one day I'd love to be a mom and as a result, I am interested in pursuing a career as a Labor and Delivery or NICU nurse. But if I've learned anything in recent years it's that we do not know what lies ahead so I'm keeping an open mind! Outside of school I loveee running and working out, traveling and going to concerts (country in particular!), spending time with family and friends, and baking! I am very much looking forward to collaborating with the rest of the incoming BOD and all of you! If you see me on campus please come say hi and if there's ever anything I can do to help please don't hesitate to reach out! |

In my "free time" I like learning new recipes, playing videos games, napping, listening to rock bands, and hanging out with my loved ones! I tutor for the 1st, 2nd, and soon to be 3rd semesters of nursing and I am a part of the Army ROTC to join the Army Nurse Corps.
